Team AlphaBit-RO137 was founded in October 2018 as an extracurricular activity within our
high school (Colegiul Național “Mihai Eminescu” Petroșani). Initially, it was seen as an
opportunity to put into practice the knowledge gained during school courses. Centerstage marks
the team's sixth season, although for some members, it is their first.
The 7th season of the BRD First Tech Challenge competition brought many achievements for
the team, including winning the Connect Award 3rd place, as a result of our involvement in promoting
STEAM education in local communities — a prize received during the regional stage in Bucharest.
